Betrayed is the second book in the House of Night series. Last time we saw Zoey she stopped the Dark Daughters from misusing their powers to manipulate humans. The Dark Daughters leader, Aphrodite, then got kicked out of the Dark Daughters group by Nefret, the High Priestess of the school. Now Zoey must face a new challenge. Humans are being killed and everything leads back to the House of Night. Zoey keeps getting a bad vibe from someone very close to her but she is just being paranoid, right?As Zoey is to be the next High Priestess, she feels it is up to her to stop who ever it is that is hurting the humans. How will Zoey save everybody? What will Zoey do when her own family members starts getting attacked? What will happen if she finds out the person she trusted the most is the very person who is behind it? Read the book to find out.

This story is read for entertainment purposes only. If you are looking for an interesting good book to read I would suggest you read this. It has everything a good book needs drama, a villain, a love triangle, and good characters you will fall in love with. You will get dragged right into the story within the first few chapters. Don't take my word for it read and find out for yourself.

Marked is the first book in the House of Night series. It's about a 16 year old girl, Zoey Redbird, who gets turned into a vampire. Her life gets turned upside down and she has to leave her home to live at the House of Night, a school for vampires. After learning she has more powers than a normal fledgling she is thrust into the Dark Daughters, the schools most elite club. She is not the only one with special powers though. What will Zoey do when she discovers that the Dark Daughters leader is misusing her powers? Will Zoey draw enough courage to stop her?

This book is entertaining. It jumps right into the story and leaves you hanging on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next.

Profile Essay Review

I interviewed my grandpa for my profile essay. My grandpa and I are very close. We have lived under the same roof together since I was three years old but I don't know much about his past. So this essay was very interesting to say the least. We did the interview in our living room. At first it was hard to get information out of him but once he started talking about his life he couldn't stop. I got a lot of information out of him and when I got down to writing my paper I didn't know where to start. I recorded the interview so I kept replaying the video while writing my paper. It took a while but eventually I got done. This paper was harder to write than the memoir. When I gave the profile back to my grandpa he hugged me and said "thank you". He appreciated the profile paper.

Will Katniss get past her anger and distrust to help them? What happens to Peeta and where does Gale fit in all of this? Who will win the war Katniss or President Snow?

Will Katniss succeed in convincing the Districts that the Hunger Games are a good thing or will her heart and beliefs get in the way? Will Katniss be able to survive the curve ball Snow throws her way?
